DM&A to launch Computer Based Proficiency Tests

Dallas, Tx., November 2, 1998 -- Don Meyer & Associates, Inc., today announced a new product line consisting of a series of CBPTs -- Computer Based Proficiency Tests. These exams are designed for technical recruiting companies or company interviewing managers wanting to ensure that the candidates they are offering to their clients or interviewing are professionally skilled in the particular discipline. For example, you have to hire a DB2 DBA. Typically, you've depended on the staff member with the closest skill set to screen candidates. Now you can rely on these tests compiled by certified professionals in their field.

Don Meyer, President of DM&A, stated, "We've compiled exams in cooperation with technical user groups, certified professionals, and software vendors to make sure the questions target candidates with up-to-date skills for the latest job descriptions. In fact, candidates can even use these exams as self study aids in preparing for the certified exams in that subject".

The current available exams are:

Oracle DBAs OLTP or DW
IRWIN Data Modelers
Oracle PL/SQL Developers
Unix System Administrators (AIX, HP-UX, & Solaris)
Cognos DSS Specialists
